Fountain Tire & Musselwhite Mine

In 2006, Fountain Tire and Musselwhite Mine placed their fundraising 'goals' with the hockey sticks and goalie gloves of the Lakehead University Thunder Wolves Men's Ice Hockey Team. The two businesses agreed to donate $15 each to the George Jeffrey Children's Foundation for every goal scored on home ice during the regular season. At the end of the OUA season, the Thunder Wolves have racked up a first place standing and 102 goals for a total donation of $3000.

Both Fountain Tire and Musselwhite Mine are long time supporters of the George Jeffrey Children's Foundation's capital fundraising campaign and have enjoyed finding interesting ways to donate money.
