Superior Chef, presented by MarKat is bringing together up to 12 of our city’s talented chefs for one unforgettable night of incredible food, friendly competition and community spirit, all in support of children and families.

On Thursday, October 1, 2026, the Superior Inn Hotel and Conference Centre will come alive as each chef serves up a signature tasting designed to impress. Sample their creations, discover new favourites and cast your vote as we find out who has what it takes to become Thunder Bay’s first Superior Chef.

Superior Chef is proudly presented in support of George Jeffrey Children’s Foundation and Easter Seals Ontario, two organizations working to create more opportunities for children and youth to grow, participate and reach their greatest potential.

Funds raised through the event will help support programs, services and specialized equipment that make a meaningful difference for children, youth and families in Thunder Bay, Northwestern Ontario and across the province.

Food has a pretty wonderful way of bringing people together. This October, we’re giving Thunder Bay an especially good reason to gather around the table.
